Luck be a lady...

Well folks... I think my luck is turning around. Why do I think this? Well let me explain...

You all know about my horrific towing experience. I'm getting all fired up inside just thinking about it. Anyway, I lost quite a bit of moolah in that whole "situation" and was forced to cancel a shopping trip in Orlando with Kyla to buy some snazzy Seven for All Mankind jeans (which I've wanted for a long time). Needless to say, it was extremely depressing. (Even more depressing was that I didn't get to see Ky all weekend :-( but we'll make up for it in 2 weeks!

So I was pretty bummed about such a large loss of money that was all due to stupidity on my part, which makes it that much harder to handle.

But then luck smiled down upon me in the form of mail from my wonderful learning institution. From the outside, it looked like just another piece of junk from some office at FSU, and normally I would just toss it, but for some reason I felt I should open it. So I did just that and pulled out a slip of paper, no ordinary slip of paper, mind you, but a check written to me from FSU for $100.

Can you believe it!!??

I have no clue why they sent me a check for a hundred bucks, but I don't ask questions when I'm being handed money - just a little rule I follow.

So now my bank account is a little more padded and I may be able to buy those wonderful jeans after all. :-) So Ky, be ready to go shopping after Halloween!
